Terms And Conditions:
All we ask is that Skills Sessions (one2one & groups skills sessions) are paid for in advance or on the day please. Sessions are non-refundable but are transferable if Evolve Mtb is notified more than 14 days prior to the booked date. Within the seven day period before the session/ class, bookings are non-transferable. Special cases are always considered however and Evolve Mtb will endeavour to provide the best service possible. Guided group bookings will be invoiced after the session and payment terms are 30 days from invoice date.
On really rare occasions.... courses may be cancelled by Evolve Mtb if there is two or under clients booked onto Group Skills Sessions. Should this occur, transfer to another course date or a full refund will be offered by Evolve Mtb.
Equipment and Riding
Please ensure that your bike is in a road worthy, full working order condition; both brakes are free from defect and work as the manufacturer intended, tyres have no splits, punctures & have good tread over the entire surface. All bolts are tight. Wheels are attached securely, move freely and have no buckles. Frame has no cracks. Pedals & cranks spin freely. Saddle is attached to the seat post securely and the seat post doesn't move in the frame. Forks or rear suspension shock (if fitted) have no leaks, no play in the stanchions and operate as the manufacturer intended. Handlebars are crack free and attached securely in the stem. Stem is attached securely to the forks and doesn't move when manipulated from side to side.
Food or fluids are not provided by Evolve Mtb. Each rider is expected to carry suitable food and hydration provisions for the session. Even on a skills session you'll be riding approx 4 to 5 miles, and concentrating is thirsty work!
It's compulsory to wear a certified cycling helmet throughout any Evolve Mtb session.
Additional body armour including eye wear, elbow, knee/shin pads. Knee pads and other protection is welcome on all of our classes. I always wear knee pads.. just in case!
Mountain Biking is a dangerous sport and as such carries risk which could result in personal injury or death. Evolve Mtb will endeavour to teach in safe areas and on suitable terrain however, the customer/ rider accepts that risk of serious injury is a part of mountain biking and has the option to withdraw from any activity at any point should they feel uncertain about proceeding.
Should the weather or ground conditions be deemed unsafe by the Evolve Mtb, an alternative date/ session will be offered to suit the customer. Evolve Mtb will make decisions on weather as early as possible however this may be on the morning or during a session.
Evolve Mtb reserves the right to stop any session without a refund should Evolve Mtb representative deem the rider either dangerously unprepared or to have provided inaccurate information regarding their riding experience causing danger to themselves and others.
Should a session be cancelled or cut short due to weather conditions, an alternative date will be arranged at no extra cost to cover missed ground.
